RS Progressive Dinner
We had lots of fun at our Relief Society Progressive Dinner last Wednesday! We began with many different kinds of yummy fondue at Jolene W's house, then we progressed on to Rinda P's house where we had the main course of pork roast with a cranberry sauce, sweet potato casserole, spinach salad and bread. Then we moved on to Jann D's house for the dessert... hot chocolate, spiced cider, apple dumplings, lemon bars, cheesecake bites and raspberry pretzel dessert. There were more cookies but I can't remember what they were. Sorry. I got stuck on the raspberry pretzel dessert and just didn't move on to the other goodies. If you can remember the other cookies, please add them in the comments! Help me out here! The evening ended with a reading about the women who knew Jesus and one verse of Silent Night. It was so nice to end on a spiritual note. And as we left, we were given a Nativity ornament and bookmark from the RS Presidency as a Christmas present. It was a fun, pleasant evening, wasn't it?
