Our Relief Society lesson on Sunday was from the First Presidency message by President Henry B. Eyring from the December Ensign, "Home for Christmas", page 5, taught by Rinda P. It was a specially powerful lesson about our earthly homes and our Heavenly Home. My favorite quote was from the section, Feeling the Joy of Giving.

"How many times have you gone to leave a gift on a doorstep, hoping not to be noticed, only to find more than one unmarked gift already there? Have you felt, as I have, the impression to help someone only to find that what you were inspired to give was exactly what someone needed at that very moment? That is a wonderful assurance that God knows all of our needs and counts on us to fill the needs of others around us." Isn't that what Relief Society is all about?
Be open to the Spirit this month and see what happens. Heavenly Father is just waiting to bless us, if we will only listen and be willing to act upon those promptings.
As you have experiences that you would like to share, leave them in the comments section. We can build each other's testimonies through sharing our own.
