Spiritual/Physical Food Storage- Upping The Ante

Hi Sisters! Our wonderful Provident Living Committee has really been working hard to find a good way to aid us in getting prepared for the difficult times in life that may lay ahead. They've been doing some research and studying and now we all get to benefit from their labors. (THANKS COMMITTEE!) So we are now going to be launching a program they found called the "Noah's Ark Program". Each month we will get some inspired counsel from General Authorities or the scriptures, along with four goals to reach that month: a Spiritual Goal; Provident Living Goal; Food Storage Goal; and a 72-hour Kit Goal. A note on the Food Storage Goals... we know that not everyone is at the same place in life, nor their food storage preparations. Therefore, we are going to try and break the Food Storage Goal down into a "Beginner" Level and an "Old Pro" Level. The Beginner Level will focus more on what it will take to get your one month supply. The Old Pro Level will be for a one year's supply. And if you find yourself somewhere in the middle, please adjust accordingly. The idea is that if we will keep up with these goals each month, in no time we will have a full supply of everything we need to 'weather the storms'. What we DON'T want to have happen is for people to feel overwhelmed and just give up. So PLEASE, if you feel the need, just make adjustments where needed and do what you can. And as always, we are all here to help each other... so please don't hesitate to ask for assistance if/when needed!
So without further adieu, here is our NOAH'S ARK PROGRAM for March (And yes, I'm aware there is only one day left in March!) :)
