Have you tried Yogurt Chips?

I went to a Stake Relief Society Meeting last week and was excited about something that they served for refreshments. Oh, Yes! The meeting was good, too. But, I was most excited about the food! Janice S. made Yogurt Drops! And, here is the recipe...

Yogurt Drops

Thicker brands of commercial yogurts dry the best.

For dehydrator drying: Drop flavored yogurt by teaspoonful or quarter-size drops, onto lightly oiled dehydrator Fruit Roll sheet or parchment paper or waxed paper. Optional: for fun- sprinkle drops with chopped peanuts or coconut before drying. Dry in a dehydrator for 8-16 hours at 135 degrees until chewy.

For oven drying: Put parchment paper on cookie sheets. Drop yogurt by teaspoonful onto parchment paper. Put cookie sheets in the oven on lowest temperature possible. Let dry until yogurt is dry but pliable. Remove from parchment paper while warm.

Chill and store in the refrigerator or freeze.

On a side note: Janice brought some Yogurt Drops that she said were over done because they were crisp. But, I loved them, too. Janice said that her son had said that they were like eating chips. So, even over-done yogurt chips are delicious! Don't throw the crisp ones away. Give them a try!
