First, we are participating again in the Stake's frozen fruits order (we only do this once a year). A sign up sheet will be going around RS, but we wanted to give you a heads up as to what's available. There will be strawberries (whole and sliced), marionberries, raspberries, blueberries, boysenberries, cherries, mango, peaches, apples, pineapple, gooseberries, and rhubarb! Holy moly! We'll never be without fruit again! The prices range from $45 - $88 per box. Check out the order form below for specific prices and you can either fill that form out and turn it in to Robin Irvine, or sign up in RS. This will be a CASH ONLY order and money needs to be turned in to Robin by September 27 (she will write out one big check from our whole ward). Now remember that this is A LOT of fruit so you may want to consider splitting orders with a friend... or two! :)And our second order is for... drum roll... CHOCOLATE! WAHOO!!! And why? Because what do we need in a time of serious stress?! CHOCOLATE!! This is a MUST for any woman's food storage supply. :) This chocolate is being purchased through a lady in Spring who buys in large quantities and therefore we can get a discount. So read through the information on the different options available (click on the links below) and then fill out an order form for whatever you would like and turn it in to Robin by October 4th with your money (again, this is a CASH ONLY order). Also, a note about ordering: all chocolate orders are in 5 lb quantities (with the exception of the SKOR pieces... those are 3 lbs). This means that not only is there a 5 lb minimum, but you must order in chunks of 5 lbs (i.e. you cannot order 7 lbs... only 5, 10, 15, etc.) But let's be real... who doesn't want at least 20 lbs anyway! :)
