Our ward is finally getting the chance to go to the LDS Cannery and Peanut Butter Factory in these upcoming months! Yea! These will be fantastic opportunities to boost your food storage for a lot less than you would pay buy ordering products online because we will can these items ourselves! So not only can you get some good products for a little amount of money, but you will have the pleasure of working side by side with the wonderful members of the FW2 ward! :) Our cannery dates are as follows: Thursday, July 23 at the Ward Cannery (from 9 AM-noon); Friday, September 25 at the Peanut Butter Factory (times to follow); and Thursday, October 29 at the Ward Cannery (from 9 AM-noon). On the form you can see what's available for canning along with its price and how long it stores on the shelf. Also, please note that we need these forms turned in about 2 weeks before each cannery date, so don't leave this to the last minute... especially considering that for our first trip, 2 weeks before is the 4th of July! So please plan ahead or you may miss out!
